WSWW (AM)
WSWW (1490 AM, "ESPN 1490") is one of two Charleston Sports AM stations. WSWW carries ESPN Radio, and is owned by the West Virginia Radio Corporation. The station has an ERP of 1,000 watts.
History
WSWW was bought by the West Virginia Radio Corporation in 1995 along with WKAZ-FM. The station has previously aired a talk format through 2002 when it switch to an adult standards format through 2004 when it switched to the current sports format.
